Jannik Sinner said he was "happy but
I have to do better" after beating American Marcos Giron to get
into the last 16 of the Australian Open.
"All matches have their difficulties, Giron was solid from
behind and served the first serve well. I had some difficulty in
returning, but I can improve", said the world number one and US
Open winner, who is defending his title in Melbourne.
"Today the percentage of points at the net was not good, I'll
try to improve.
"It's part of the game: some things go better, others worse.
"Mentally I try to stay on track which is the most important
thing.
"If I want to stay in this tournament I have to improve, "I hope
to raise the level in the next round".
