Bologna moved into sixth place in
Serie A, the Conference League qualification spot, after beating
bottom club Monza 3-1 at the Dall'Ara Saturday.
Daniel Maldini, 23, the third generation of the great Italian
soccer dynasty, gave the Lombards an early lead in the fourth
minute but Bologna struck back through 20-year-old Argentine
forward Santiago Castro in the 22nd minute, 25-year-old Danish
forward Jens Odgaard in the 34th, and 27-year-old Italy winger
Riccardo Orsolini in the 69th.
Bologna are on 33 points, 14 behind leaders Napoli who play
third-placed Atalanta in a top of the table clash in Bergamo
Saturday night.
Second placed Inter entertain 14th placed Empoli at the San Siro
on Sunday night.
Monza are on 13 points, one below Venezia and five behind
Cagliari.
