Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime
Minister Antonio Tajani met in Brussels Thursday with the
European Commissioner for Trade, Maroš Šefčovič, to discuss the
new US trade tariffs of 20% on EU goods.
During the meeting, a note said, "the two agreed on the need to
maintain a firm but dialogue-based approach, aimed at avoiding
further escalation on the trade front".
