Carabinieri police in the central
Italian city of Cesenatico have placed a nursery school teacher
under house arrest on suspicion of abusing her pupils,
investigative sources said Tuesday.
The arrest warrant was issued by a preliminary investigations
judge (GIP) after a probe coordinated by the State Attorney's
Office in Forlì, in the Emilia-Romagna region.
Carabinieri police moved in after complaints about the woman's
alleged aggressive behaviour against some of the children, the
sources said.
Police found incriminating evidence that led to the pre-trial
arrest during the reserved probe, according to investigative
sources.
