Poste Italiane said in a statement on
Friday that it closed 2024 with "the highest ever recorded net
income" of 2.01 billion euros, reached two years in advance
compared to its 2024-2028 strategic plan.
The company also said it registered record revenues last year at
12.6 billion euros, up 5-0% on an annual basis.
Matteo Del Fante, Poste's CEO, commented on the 2024 results,
saying that the group was "committing to an upgraded dividend
policy with a payout ratio structurally increased to 70%
throughout the plan, translating into more than 7.5 billion
euros in cumulated dividends over the 2024-2028 period compared
to the original target of €6.5 billion.
"We will be proposing a full-year 2024 Dividend Per Share of
1.08 euro, up 35% year-on-year for a total dividend of €1.4
billion on 2024 net profit", the cEO was quoted as saying in the
statement.
"The balance will be paid in June of this year", Del Fante
added.
