The Italian Ambassador in Addis Ababa, Agostino Palese, opened the first roadshow on 'Collaboration between Ethiopia and Italy in the field of higher education, research and innovation'. The initiative is organised in the framework of the Mattei Plan, in collaboration with the Ministry of University and Research, the Ethiopian Ministry of Education and the Med - Or Foundation. Representatives of some of Italy's largest companies and institutions, such as Leonardo, Mermec Group, Arexpo, Bonifiche Ferraresi and Future Farming Initiative, took part in the day's readshow. The readshow saw the participation of students and representatives of the Ethiopian institutional and entrepreneurial world, highlighting the many opportunities for further development of the collaboration between Italy and Ethiopia also in the field of higher education.
