Ambassador Marilina Armellin was received today by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Justice Yahya Afridi. The two interlocutors," reads a note, "discussed the excellent state of bilateral judicial cooperation, which, reflecting the intensification of people-to-people relations in recent years, has made significant progress, including the negotiation of three bilateral agreements in the field of justice. Ambassador Armellin and Judge Afridi agreed that this was a starting point to further deepen this cooperation and extend it to the field of training and best practices.
The two interlocutors also explored possible forms of support from the judicial system to the smooth functioning of the economic system, in the mutual interest of creating the best conditions for further development of bilateral cooperation in the field of trade.
