The Italian Ambassador to Vilnius, Emanuele de Maigret, met with Sakalas Uzdavinys, an actor, director and associate professor at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (Almt), to discuss the 'Italian as a Language of Art' project.
The project envisages the realisation, during the 25th Week of the Italian Language in the World, of a workshop on the commedia dell'arte and the use of the mask and the Italian language for opera singing students at the Almt.
The initiative will be implemented in close cooperation with the Italian Cultural Institute in Vilnius and the Italian Embassy in Vilnius.
