The Italian ambassador to Zagreb, Paolo Trichilo, visited the town of Koprivnica, on the border with Hungary and on the banks of the Dravadove river, where he met the mayor Mišelo Jakšić and his deputy Ksenija Ostriž, who explained to the ambassador the economy, cultural heritage, educational system, history and sporting achievements of the area.
In addition to local issues, Ambassador Trichilo and Mayor Jakšić also discussed the current economic and political situation in Croatia, Italy and the European Union. During his stay, the ambassador also visited the Koprivnica Gallery and its world-famous naive paintings. Trichilo then met with the Prefect of Koprivnica-Križevci County, and Marijana Štimac, the Director of the Regional Development Agency
