Joint fifth-placed Atalanta beat
joint 14th-placed Fiorentina 3-2 at the Gewiss Stadium in
Bergamo on Sunday.
All the goals came in the first half.
Argentina centre-back Lucas Martínez Quarta opened the scoring
for the visitors in the 15th minute, and Argentina-born Italy
centre-forward Mateo Retegiu equalised in the 21st.
Italy striker Mouse Kean out the Viola 2-1 up on the 32nd only
for the Bergamaschi to strike back with Belgium attacking
midfielder Charles De Ketelaere in the 45th and English-born
Nigeria forward Ademola Lookman in the 46th.
Atalanta are level with Verona, Napoli and Empoli on six points,
one behind Inter and Udinese and two shy of leaders Toirno and
Juventus.
In the other early game Sunday Torino and Lecce played out a
goalless draw.
