AC Milan notched their first win of
the season on the fourth day of play by thrashing basement and
newly promoted side Venezia 4-0 at the San Siro with all the
goals coming in the first half hour including two penalties.
Last year's runner-ups are now eight on five points, a point
behind joint fifth Verona, Napoli and Empoli on six points, two
points behind joint second Inter, Torino and Udinese on seven
points, and three points behind leaders Juventus who are on
eight points despite only managing a goalless draw at Empoli
Saturday night.
Sunday's fixtures are: Genoa-Roma at 12:30, Atalanta-Fiorentina
and Torino-Lecce at 15:00, Cagliari-Napoli at 18:00 and
Monza-Inter at 20:45.
