Inter Milan has indirect ties to crime
because of the illegal and de facto tolerated activities of its
ultras, prosecutors said in their court papers served Monday as
they arrested 19 ultra chieftains of Inter and AC Milan.
Inter "currently, alternating between negligent facilitation and
subservience, has (indirectly) relationships with organized
crime and stadium crime, unable to clearly break off such
relationships", said Milan prosecutors Paolo Storari and Sara
Ombra in the request for precautionary custody for the ultras
arrested yesterday.
For the Nerazzurri, as well as for the Rossoneri, both not under
investigation, as clarified yesterday, a "preventive procedure"
has been opened, without requests for judicial administration,
but with a cross-examination with the companies' lawyers.
