In Metternich Palace, seat of the Italian Embassy in Vienna, took place the presentation of the Report Italians in the World 2024, edited by the Migrantes Foundation of the Italian Episcopal Conference. The event, organised by Comites (Committee of Italians Abroad) Austria and dedicated to the theme of Italian mobility abroad, was attended by Delfina Licata, coordinator of the Report and sociologist of migration.
The Report, now in its 19th edition and presented for the first time in Austria, is an important publication for the analysis of data and trends in Italian communities around the world. The presentation was an opportunity to deepen and learn more about the reality of the more than 6 million Italian nationals living abroad, with particular attention to the more than 50 thousand Italian citizens living in Austria, equal to 0.7% of the total number of Italians living abroad.
