A 15-year-old boy was beaten and
subjected to death threats by his 48-year-old father in Naples
because he is gay, the teenager reported to teachers this week.
The youngster received his father's latest death threat on
WhatsApp while at school and his teachers persuaded him to
report the alleged violence to the police.
The man, who reportedly hit his son with a wrench, has been
arrested by the Carabinieri for mistreatment and assault.
He allegedly struck his son in the face, neck and legs, police
said.
