Premier Giorgia Meloni will attend
Donald Trump's inauguration as president of the United States
for the second time in Washington on Monday, her office said
Friday night.
Meloni is on friendly terms with Trump and with his future
co-head of a new government efficiency department, the world's
richest man Elon Musk.
However, her attendance at the billionaire businessman and
reality star turned politician's second inauguration had been in
some doubt.
Meloni recently paid a flying visit to Trump's Florida HQ at
Mar-a-Lago.
